Will my pepe reciever work if I unplugged it on my home and connect it to another/friend's Satellite or do I have to freaking search the channels again? That would fuck up my settings coz I have international channels and he doesn't.

good question. assuming your friend has a genuine dishnetwork dish and the LNBs are in the same and position as yours, it should be just plug and play. i say gunuine dishnetwork dish because mine is not. it's a no name brand and my LNBs are not setup in the same position as dishnetwork's actual dish.

does that make sense? 
bottom line - yours is dishnetwork, his is dishnetwork then yes, it should work without rescanning.

if he has dish pro lnbs and chups too its plug and play, if he has regular lnbs (the ones that need the diseq switch) chups needs to identify which switch position for each lnb, i did that some 2 months ago, took my pepevision to the lake to watch solis donaire

   excellent point! forgot about the difference between dish pro and regular. i use a diseq switch for my made in taiwan dish.
